You should discuss with your doctor all the risks and benefits of taking Bactrim if you have kidney or liver disease, or glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (G6PD deficiency). You may need additional tests and control, as well as lower dose of the medicine. FDA gave Bactrim category C, it means that the harm to pregnant woman and her unborn baby is unknown, so you should consult Bactrim drugstore or your doctor before taking the medicine. Bactrim is not suitable for children under 2 months old.
How should Bactrim be used?

If you suspect an overdose, ask for urgent medical help. You may feel nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, diarrhea, headache, yellowing of the skin or eyes, decreased urine production, bloody urine, and coma.
What are possible side effects of Bactrim?

- nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, or diarrhea;
- weakness; or

Bactrim can increase your sensitivity to sun, so avoid being at the sun for a long period and use sun protective means and clothes.

- pyrimethamine
- rifampin
- some medicines used to treat blood pressure and/or heart failure (ACE inhibitors such as benazepril, enalapril, lisinopril, moexipril, quinapril, ramipril, and others)
- spironolactone
- sulfinpyrazone
- triamterene
- trimetrexate
- valproic acid
